A full day today with little time for photos. I'd started planning macro shots with some turkey feathers as an after dinner possibility. But then, the sun started to set and it was a wonderful one. I went from no photos to too many. The two I chose have very different 'feels' to them. I'm putting this one in my main album as it has a more serious feel to it and I like the bokeh created by shooting into the sun. The one in my extras album is one of those surprises -- when I shot it, I didn't realize that the thistle plant would end up looking like an alien!

@olivetreeann It does! And going back to our house in Chicago without Nutmeg will be very strange. We've never lived there without her. So, hard to leave for so many reasons! I'm hoping August goes more slowly than the rest of the summer has done.
@danielwsc Thanks Daniel for viewing and faving! Good to see you back online! I'm going to check on your postings now. Say hi to Annette! We're back on the 25th.
Thanks for stopping and viewing Joey, Annie, and Marloes -- and for the favs which made my day, Joey and Marloes!!
