Hi 365 Friends of Taffy,
I'm a Beaver Island green spotted wild frog. I made that name up, by the way. I don't live in that cushy pond those other frogs Taffy's posted hang out in. By a big house, in an artificial pond. That's for wimp frogs. I'm tough. There are snakes here at Barney's Lake where I hang out. I hide in the grasses. Taffy and her friend, Vickey, spotted me. They seemed so thrilled to see me that I sat a bit and posed. I wish I could have posted pictures of them. They were pretty muddy and dirty looking and looked out of place. I fit in here really well. They really don't. I could be a model. See these great green spots? That's natural. See my cool eyes? I was looking right at them -- useful for spotting snakes too. See my legs? I'm always ready to take off if I have to. I don't hang around anywhere for long. I heard Taffy tell Vickey she's leaving for Chicago, whatever that means. I heard her say something about spending time working instead of walking and taking photos. Hmph...seems an odd way to live. I like it in the wild. I'm just a wild Beaver Island frog. Thanks for looking.
You are such a wonderful, magical beautiful frog!Way better than any prince for sure!So glad you hopped into Taffy's viewfinderI am going to put you in my favorites folder now.:)
A talking frog? I am sure he talks because he had to TELL you that story, he couldn't possibly be a typing frog too. Well...he is very very handsome...He may be waiting for his princess to come along and kiss him? But then he would have to leave his beloved lake and live in a castle.
Alas...he best stay hidden when all you pretty ladies come calling.
I love this capture and will think of him often..hope to see more of him!!
That's a cool, I love it when frogs talk to me, you made me feel like a little girl getting a bed time story told. The colouring is totally jaw dropping

@olivetreeann Thanks Anne, and for viewing and commenting on several of my shots today --I could tell you were in 'catch up' mode! I read each one and really appreciate the time you took.
@taffy Not a problem- the ocd comes out in me when I get behind but I really want to see every shot- so in the end I concentrate on the 365 albums and slowly get caught up. But of course, I wanted to finish everyone's pictures yesterday!
