On my walk to the college today, four birds flew by -- three too quickly for me to capture, but this cooperative one lagged behind just a bit for me to get off one shot. Lucky the settings were okay!
I like the silhouette of the bird, with a wing span shaped to make it look like it's floating and "lagging behind" just to wait for you to photograph it. The blue is a wonderfully rich color. Look at those wispy clouds, too! I wonder if the tree tops are a bit distracting? Or do they add to the sense of looking upward?
@mariyakey Yes, I went in and cloned out the trees. It looked a lot better without them and really, I think people could tell it was the sky without the tree tops annoying the scene!! THanks for the visit and comment.
