Walked over to Union Station to photograph the interior and was pleased the light on the colonnade was interesting. Not very inspired but it was taken and processed today, and maintains the flash of red theme. Thanks for your fun comments and ideas about the melting stairs -- I had a lot of fun using that filter again tonight (but decided to go with the 'pure' columns' adding just a little texture).
I love the light and the symmetry. I am glad you keep the columns clean... the lines are great. I am struggling with inspiration in the face of "busy," so I understand the inspiration thingy. Glad you are enjoying the liquify filter.
great leading line, textures, shapes, play of light and shadows. By the way, I noticed you've not followed up on me helping with the cat and dream...I could probably help weds or thursday but after that will be gone for a couple weeks
So stately looking - how are you able to catch these without people in the way? This is really amazing - love the light, shadows, and detail and just the right amount of texture to almost feel the roughness.
@milaniet Thanks for the visit and comments! It helps that it was Sunday afternoon of Superbowl 50! There were not many folks around so I only had to wait a few minutes between shots for people to go away.
