Homage to Monet

On a recent photo walk with friend Vickey we discovered this beautiful pond on the 'trail behind the power station near the volunteer fire company" (typical Beaver Island directions). I was reminded of the well-known Monet paintings that hang in Chicago's Art Institute and decided to have a 'see to' as Marnie @golftragic describes it using SnapArt.

The lily pads look exactly the same. All you need now is the bridge. Im rather fond of that Monet as my son did a rather impressive copy of it in primary school (at least I rather thought so at the time and am happy to stick with that memory).
