It was the blue hour and Junko and I had our cameras (original plan didn't take into account that it was going to get dark so quickly, so no tripods). Each of us took about 5 shots while we froze standing next to the lakeshore. What I needed for the shot I'd envisioned was a tripod and at least one image without the moon blown out to merge with this one. Oh well...

A beautiful composition -- and to think you could figure this out in two minutes freezing cold! I like how black the branches show up against the blue.

I will repeat the same comments as I did on Junko's. Love the blueness of this and reflected moonlight on the lake. It does look freezing cold and I'm left wondering who is egging who on to do these expeditions. Fav.
