One of today's adventures involved snake and frog hunting in The Big Field and, next to that, Millers' Marsh. That was after climbing Big Rock (yes, this is on the Beaver Island map) and Big Tree (also on the map). It's been fun -- very very very active compared to our average day -- with lots of photo ops.
I shared with Jonathan, the 'dad' in yesterday's post) that many of you thought he looked like Johnny Depp who, it turns out, is his oldest son's favorite actor. He was flattered, though he doesn't quite see it -- loved the idea though!
All it takes is inquisitive children to open up our world to the many places around us to enjoy. This is gorgeous and I had to look twice at the dad behind the fence too, strong resemblance to J Depp! Smile. Fav for this gorgeous photo!
Beautiful! This shot of Beaver Island. reminds me of my favorite island in Washington. Natural beauty, wildlife and open space. I'm sure your visitors has a memorable time.
Not sure I like the sound of snakes! What an adventure you are taking those boys on! They will remember this trip for a long time! I am laughing at the thought of you exhausted by all this activity! I thought it was impossible to slow you down! Lol! Fav for this natural beauty!
