We were on the east side of the island tonight with friends for dinner when suddenly these bizarre clouds rolled in, followed by torrential rain. Sadly, no camera with me except my cell phone. A reminder (A) always carry my camera! and (B) it's true the best camera is the one we have with us.
I'll be unable to comment much til the weekend, but will enjoy browsing as much as I can.
An amazing shot though. I hear that the IPhone 7 has an incredible camera. I heard that they shoot in RAW format. Is that true? Adobe just did an update to LR mobile that gives it a lot of the same functionality as the desktop LR,
Ha, I just took a photo today of an impending storm! But yours is much better I think. I like the sweep of it. I think you'd better run inside before the rain gets you!
Looks like it should be a biblical image - but I don't recall the parting of the sky - only the sea. It is one amazing display of nature though and what a fantastic capture of the drama. Even down to those tiny little buildings to anchor the scale of things.
Wow..don't lament not having your camera with you, revel in being there to see it and that the camera on your cell phone did such a good job of capturing it!
@moonmtn The iPhone 7 does have RAW capability, but to use it, I work through an app called ProCam. It seems to be decent overall, but not as good as a real camera would be. Thanks for your visit and comment!
Your use of space is so effective
Great phone shot, amazing what cell phone cameras can do today!
