After righting the tomatoes, pruning the dead branches (and sadly the lost tomatoes or flowers on them), rigging strings that hold the steel supports more steady, watering them well, and abjectly apologizing to each and every one of them, my tomato plants have decided they will forget the awful incident of being left to fend for themselves in gale force winds and forgive me. They have promised to continue to grow, but said they will not give me a second chance. I've learned my lesson and promised to hire a plant sitter next time we have to leave them alone. Here they are, posing kindly for me during tonight's sunset. All 18 of them!
Thank you for your supportive comments on the b&w conversion of the architecture shot. It was fun to work on it.
What a magnificent capture and sight to behold. Those must be the luckiest Tomatoes I Know! Imagine seeing this every day. So happy they are doing well again. Fav
They will survive! Wonderful to see them standing tall again! Lovely sunset Taffy! I am in Wales for the weekend and there was no sunset here as it was raining! Still raining this morning! Summer in England - so predictable! Lol! Fav for you tomatoes!
Fantabulous news, gut-wrenching to lose mature tomato plants after all the TLC, not to mention the imminent dividends. You're going to be up to the ears in tomatoes once they fruit!!
Gorgeous sunset Taffy!
