I love the feeling of togetherness and trust these two lionesses showed as @ukandie1 and I photographed them. Their heads sometimes even moved in unison. I liked how in this one they were both watching so carefully but never moved from their proximity to one another.
Thanks for your lovely comments and favs for yesterday's zebra shot. Much appreciated!
Beautiful enough for the gorgeous beasts that they are, but your subtle processing has brought out some amazing depth to their beauty! I would love to step up and embrace them! (...too bad they bite!)
@sunshinepix I don't know if they're related. They've been at the zoo together for many years. There's one male and I think these two females. They all are in the same open area and seem to get along well. I just wish they had more space.
@ukandie1 They certainly were - like we'd hired them for a photo shoot. I have a set of them looking at us, to the left, one to the left and one at us, etc. It's fun working with these!
Just gorgeous! I have a wonderful set of these two beauties- their photos must go all round the world! I think they are sizing you and Andie @ukandie up for dinner! Like you I wish they had more space and natural habitat to roam! Fav for these two beauties!
Gorgeous portrait! You've captured them beautifully, the texture of their fur makes me feel as though I could reach through my computer screen and sink my fingers into it! faved
i love this photo.
"I thought we said no pictures. Were we not clear?"
These are gorgeous animals, lovely to catch two so close together like that.
