Andie's and my final stop was to get light trails at the Chicago Theater. Andie had seen some dramatic shots of this, but we realized they couldn't have been taken at rush hour. Check out Andie's for the bus trail/ghost that frames the theater as it went by - http://365project.org/ukandie1/365/2017-12-27 . I have some more conventional trails here, not the dramatic ones we'd sought. It was a great walk and it's been fun sharing our shots with you!
@ukandie1 Not too different of an angle, but very different in type of trail. I loved the white light that you had in yours! What a great walk, once we delved into our 'disappointing' images. I'm ready for our next one!
I like your inclusion of the festive light pole, I totally missed that. We talked about how mild the winters have been the past few years and that the lake and river have not frozen, if this weather keeps up then that should happen, hope so because love the photog opportunities it brings!
Great capture, Taffy. Love the lights of this theatre and the trails as well. I almost did not notice them either as the first thing I noticed is this theatre.
Lovely image, like the inclusion of the lamp post. Love the little details you only see if you look closer to the image, like the couple (?) in front of the theater, the stationary bus is a bit distracting though.
