With low lying mist, the skyline took on a totally different look. This is the view we will lose when the 58 story building is built just north of us. Probably will take 2 years, so we'll enjoy this while we can. Nicer than someday looking into someone's window!
Love the view with the layer of fog/mist. Interesting to see the spire of that old church amongst the more modern buildings. Bummer about that 58-storey building though. I would've thought you were pretty safe from that kind of thing at the level you live in.
At this time of year we seem to have similar weather. You warm up and we cool down. Lovely capture of the fog. Such a shame to lose that beautiful view.
oh wow. i never like the idea of losing a view. sounds like you have an accepting philosophy towards it though - respect! meanwhile i shall enjoy sharing it with you while we can. i like how the mist adds to the scene
Marvelous mist layer, this is perfect in black and white. Isn’t it amazing that big cities just keep building apartments in their downtown areas? I always think there’s no way there will be enough people to move in to these skyscrapers, and they always fill right up.
When I said good bye to Tim as he left for work the other day, I thought to myself there are some great misty/foggy shots to be had downtown, and you have obliged me with one of them thank you :) Great in b&w, but so sad you will loose this view!
love all the parallel lines, and the mystery the fog lends to the distant skyline. how close is the building that will be built? that's just too bad losing this view but i hope you will still get some sunshine at some point during the day. aces, miss taffy!
What a great view and the mist is wonderful! The new tall buildings always look fabulous but we tend to forget they will block someone’s view which is a shame. Fav!
