Given my total fear of rodents, it's ironic that in the Chinese calendar, I was born in the Year of the Rat (there were 12 possibilities, and I ended up with the rat...). This is the only sculpture I've ever seen that represents the rat and is still an intriguing, appealing figure! From Andie's and my Chinatown tour.
I think it's a terrific sculpture, I'd put in my garden any day. Hate rats though, we get them in the garden, a penalty for living near the river. Dog-proof bait stations keep them under control, thank goodness. BTW, I'm a Snake, and I hate snakes!!
