Camera is resting comfortably at the camera repair shop, hoping for a good diagnosis and able to return home in a few weeks. She's thinking of good memories of her time in Grand Canyon, especially that day in the fog and snow. She thanks you all for your well wishes. She says she's not worried I'll abandon her, though she did hear that I have rented the new Nikon mirrorless with an adaptor for my lenses for a week starting Wednesday.
I have a digital display but take 99% of my pictures using the view finder. I find holding my elbows tight to my body while the camera is at my eye helps me steady thhe shot.
Ha ha ! a wonderful capture for this image "in the life of a camera " . Hope camera will regain good health after a few weeks diagnosis , repair and rest !! A lovely image - fav
@leonbuys83 Only the Z7 is available for now, and no lens. So that's what I'm renting. But for purchase -- if I end up going that direction, I'm thinking the Z6 would be sufficient as I don't print larger than about 16 X 20. The 24-70 is an f4 lens, so a bit slower than what I'd like, and I'm disappointed not to be able to try that out while I'm renting, but I think all this is too new. I will share my experience and am excited to have the chance to try it out - it arrives tomorrow!
