Andie @ukandie1 and I spent some time at the Auto Show that's in town for the week. I can't say autos are my favorite subject to photograph, but it was indoors and something different, so well worth our time. And, I was able to see this car (OMG, who would spend 3.5 plus million for a car???) and the Formula One car in Andie's album - https://365project.org/ukandie1/365/2019-02-15 - which were among the highlights.
It’s obscene to think that someone has enough money to buy this car! They will probably never drive it as it’s too precious so it will sit in a car “museum” to be polished and druled over! Something wrong about this!
As an after thought I notice you haven't a single fav at this point. That should challenge you to get a photo of a car that gets you some favs. I am throwing down the gauntlet.
Incredible, I wonder how many they've sold. I guess if you had the money to pay that much for a car you wouldn't worry too much about repair bills if you damaged it.
Oh my, human excess to the extreme is hard to enjoy. Look at the horsepower this car has, unbelievably powerful. I imagine it goes from show to show in its own special 18 wheeler, just like a Rock Star.
@joansmor Haha! I guess we don't fav social commentary shots? And this one certainly didn't have much artistic merit! I have to admit cars aren't that exciting to me -- did you check out Andie's shot? I thought it was great!
@jack4john Andie's doing fine! She just posted a few shots from her most recent adventures -- hockey game and then our walk. Link is in the narrative above. @ukandie1 -- see John's question above...you are missed!
@pamknowler I suspect this is not the car for 'working folks' -- who would have a salary that could pay for this except hugely overpaid celebrities perhaps??? And trust fund folks perhaps. Or someone who has a great expense account! No one in my circle of course!
Oh my! My husband and I have been out looking at cars today and I couldn't get over the £25k price tag of the very modest every day car that we were viewing. This puts things in perspective.
Holy Toledo Batman, that's a bit OTT even for the next Batmobile. Who on earth could afford paying that for a set of wheels which is, after all, what this beautiful car is.
Well, it must be pointed out that 3.5 mil is MSRP. I'll bet that with a decent trade and a little bargaining, you could get that down to 3.4 mil. Did you even try?
@ukandie1 -- see John's question above...you are missed!
