Taken from West Loop Green/Pink Line station, looking back toward the city. You can see the teeny glass observation decks on the Sears Tower (tallest building) and just to the right is our condo's top floors and rooftop deck. Taken with iPhone, processed in Silver Efex.
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my two fog images -- I am still leaning toward what many of you labeled the 'castle in sky' version, disconnected from all the other buildings. But it was interesting to me the comments preferring the other image that has context and grounding to it.
@caterina I appreciate that. I actually just ordered a metal print of that one to hang as one of two on one of our walls. Junko had spotted it when she was here for dinner and we were both photographing -- ending up with VERY similar images (great mind thinking alike!).
Yes, me too for the 'castle in the sky'. Love this shot with its strong lines and perspective. I'm a sucker for railway/train photos. As for the skyline, wow, no wonder you have such good views from your eyrie.
Fabulous silver tones! Great iPhone capture- the cameras are so good! I love this image and all the lines of the tracks. Wonderful to see the top of your condo - wow what a fantastic place to live! Jealous? Me? Yes!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love the guy sitting on the bench looking at his phone. Really sets the scene off for me.
Waving at your condo and wondering if someone there will wave back...... :)
