Dirt roads may be part of the charm, but it's not fun driving behind another vehicle! This is the dirt road that leads to the 'bluff road' and down to our house, eventually.
This is a great capture of the dust. Dirt roads make people follow at a safe distance from the lead car, though. I noticed on our road trip that people are following too close on the paved highways!
So atmospheric thanks to the lighting. There are dirt roads in our community and I always feel bad for them in the summer when the dust gets kicked up from all the commuter traffic. Great shot!
what a wonderful scene. I do love the way the light falls on and shines behind those leaves to make such great textural patterns. And of course the dirt road certainly has its purpose in photography.
Love this shot Taffy, it’s a sight I’ve seen umpteen times where I lived for 20 years, but so much more appealing amongst those trees, in b&w, and where I don’t have to deal with the dust. We’re in a remote part of South Australia, no mobile coverage, wifi only in main resort building. Hope to get some shots today.
