First, thanks so much for your response to the blue hour sunset! It was exciting to see all the wonderful comments and favs. Yes, I feel very fortunate.
Today is a Diary Shot: I headed out early this morning to catch my flights to Santa Barbara to connect with friends for my sailing adventure through the Channel Islands National Park off the California Coast. After a few extra hours on the ground (in the plane pictured, taken from the terminal window when I optimistically thought it would bring good memories!) waiting for an "epic snowstorm" to pass so the Denver airport could re-open. Now am spending several hours in Denver waiting for a new connection, having missed my original. And just got a text saying that flight is delayed. I should sleep well tonight once I finally get there. I join them on the boat, the Denize II, tonight and if the winds are okay, we leave in the morning for the islands. Only intermittent Internet access after tomorrow til I get back to LA.
It's gotten where flying is so unpredictable even in good weather. Sat on the plane - buckled in - waiting to take off for 1:35 this last leg. But do enjoy when you get there!
I wish we had known you were stranded in DIA. If you ever need help, we are available. Just need to find a more efficient way to communicate than 365. I hope you made it OK to your boat. I look forward to your pictures.
How wonderful to have friends In Sta Barbara! SO MUCH to see and do there...and hardly any chance of snow! Your trip sound exceptional! Nothing like being out on the water!
Don't know when I'll be back again !....
In fact not even sure when I'm going yet !!
Flying is great when everything goes well!
