Garden of the Gods #2. This is a 'classic' scene in Garden of the Gods, one you can reach by auto as well as on foot. We timed our hike so we'd end up there during sunset and it didn't disappoint.

Not in the discription, The money to build this church was collected by a taks on beer. As water in those day`s was n`t reliable, beer was the common drink. After a few years the people did n`t want to pay those anymore and the build has stop for some years.
@pyrrhula This is interesting to learn more about. What a striking building. Even today, I see buildings stopped in the middle of construction when money from their source runs out and the builders have to look for another way to get funding.
