When Danbo came up with Hide and Seek as a game to keep Little D entertained, there was a lot of enthusiasm. Little D turned to a friend to help him hide. I caught sight of Danbo asking where Little D might have gone while Giraffe played along, "Don't know...haven't seen him in ages."
Haha. Mine sure will join the game ;) It is funny that days before, I thought about put a giraffe on a picture with Danbo... Althought I haven’t anyone... Maybe, someday we will coincide
@jgpittenger Interesting question and the answer is really, I don't know. Sometimes I have an idea going in and try to set it up (like the one about washing hands). The one with the remote came about because my leg/hip still hurt a lot and I wanted to post something. All I could reach was the remote and the bag of toys, and I could only take a photo from lying on the sofa. But then, once I got started setting it up, the idea came to me about negotiating turns. The one of hide-and-seek was the original idea but I loved how the sun was coming in, so I went with that instead, but then came back to hide and seek. I do love storytelling, whimsey, and fun (Jim often sings the song to me as I'm doing these that was sung in Camelot, 'What do the simple folk do?'; as he thinks it's so weird). Now I'm just into the idea of using Danbo and friends but staying thematically within the reality of sheltering in place and how it feels. Thanks for asking!
Thanks for your thoughtful response and I like your idea of creatively expressing how it feels to be in lockdown. I think I need to find a way to express my feelings about it...will ponder
Very cute- it reminds me of our little neighbor ages ago who would play hide and seek by covering her face with her hands and then throwing them wide open while saying, "You found me!".
