Tree Welcomes Us to His Territory

I met a friend for a photowalk this morning, seeking some colorful birds and an insect or two, maybe a snake. This was certainly the most interesting of the creatures we encountered.
I'm off to the beach to see if the comet is visible...fingers crossed!
