My get-pushed partner, Nicola Eastwood, this week challenged me to create an image of "what gets in the way of your get-pushed project?" I have to say the only thing I could think of is work! Like so many of us, if I didn't have a day job (thank goodness I like it!), I'd be happy filling the time with photography activities -- meet-ups, solo photo walks, downloading, organizing, processing, viewing and commenting on the wonderful 365 photos, reading about photography, browsing Amazon and Adorama and eBay for photography gear, browsing shops for fun things to photograph, and so on and so on! This was my backup image taken a few days ago in case I couldn't come up with something better to depict work getting in the way.
I wish I could say I had to create this scene. It's just the corner of my desk at school.
All I am going to say is "I feel your pain"! And, that is exactly why I am up at 1 AM trying to upload my picture and comment on my fellow 365ers! Oh, well...
I agree with everything you've said - I do have to work to support my hobby! Luckily I am a hourly employee so work vs play is black and white - until I realize the home has been neglected:-)
Ditto on what everyone else said above! I start thinking about what to upload around 10 pm at night. And, my office is such a mess I would Never let anyone see a picture of it!
