I use any excuse at all to purchase flowers on a dreary winter day. So - I truly appreciated this week's macro texture challenge!
I actually did a focus stack of the very centre of a flower and it turned out marvelous with every stamen and pistil showing. It had tons of great texture.
But it was ugly!
So, you get this prettier, not quite macro, close-up instead!
