Jacqueline asked me to show you around Teasel the 40' narrow boat we've hired for the week.
The bow ( I'd just finished washing off the duck poo!)
The stern ( steering end, she pivots in the middle of the boat)
Bedroom ( also dumping ground for coats, cameras and phones)
Galley ( that fridge is very effective!)
Saloon (we can put in a small table by the door)
Yesterday I found the find cooler, good job wine had been in fridge so if could stay cool once removed.
That looks really cosy Jackie! Everything you could need in a small space. It always amazes me how narrow boat builders use every tiny nook and cranny to good effect
Got to like the person you're on that boat with! Are you ready to sell your house and move into a tiny house? No, I think it must be a fun trip and glad to see you got some sunshine.
@robz He told me last night he's been answering work emails!! I was unimpressed.
I got made redundant in December, desided to call it early retirement, as soon as C-19 over I plan to travel to see my girls, family and friends.
Be a while before plans for Oz trip redone ( 60th birthday party is next month, sad were missing it! But then we wouldn't be here in the rain on our week of boating!)
