Kanzi Apple

They have a new apple at one of our markets. It’s called Kanzi. It’s the first apple I have actually loved since Jonathon and Pippin vanished. No theme this week @shutterbug49 Debbie

I think this type was at the grocery store the other day when I went. are they sort of smaller apples? I was curious what they taste like. I hated to pay the price for a bag if I only ate one.

@grammyn It’s definitely not as tart as a Granny Smith. It’s tart sweet. Nothing like a so-called delicious apple.

@shutterbug49 I bought one after I looked at your photo and decided that I wanted to give it a try. The texture is not quite the kind that I like but the flavor was really good and I probably never would’ve tried it if you hadn’t taken a photo of it. Thanks
