When we built our home we designed the garage to eventually be closed in for a bedroom suite. That finally happened several years ago and we needed to landscape where the driveway used to enter the garage. My wife wanted a Red Maple, so we put one between the new windows. That tree is now 15 feet tall and sprawls across the front of the house. Every spring the leaves turn this brilliant red color!
Exquisite colours. We have a little red japanese maple we were given as a wedding gift. It didn't do well at our old house, but it has flourished here. It can't grow tall but it has spread and is about 3 feet high. Wonderful things. I like your tree.
