We believe this is an Immature Male Ring Neck Pheasant! These are not a native species to our home. My wife saw two. This one walking/running but not flying. The other one was seen on the power line, but not there when I went back with my camera.
This guy ran on down the road away from me.
@thewatersphotos They squawk a bit I think…..mostly quiet when we see them walking about. We had one that came in the garden underneath the bird feeder….beautiful colours in the sun.
