June words - landscape. Saturday morning swim at St Andrews Lake. Water temperature was 18 degrees C and I managed 25 minutes! A mixture of rain, sun and wind made for a bit of drama in the sky. This pylon is on the quarry wall of the lake. I have a bit of a fascination with Pylons!
Love this capture! I’ve never given much thought to pylons, but your photograph has ignited my interest in them. They can be fascinating shapes against a sky. Cool image! And very well done on that cold swim!
@boxplayer Thank you and no I did not know.... I shall have to investigate! Many years I joined a FB cardigan appreciation society; I still love a cardi!
@cocokinetic Thank you. Yes there something very majestic about them too. I very often see them in a line which would make a great image but I am invariably on a train or in a car when I see them!
