Today’s persistent rain finally stopped and allowed me to squelch my way down the garden to the compost bin. Luckily I had my camera in my pocket as I thought the combination of rain water and lichen made some pretty patterns on the trunk of this tree.
Beautiful shot. Everything looks more beautiful after a rain shower. We had some rain about a fortnight ago and the garden was much more lovely than it has been these last dry months.
