The plaque alongside this life-sized PTSD Memorial invites the viewer to hold the hand of the figure and just take a few minutes of peace. I’m convinced it was modelled on Yul Brynner (showing my age).
The bald head says it all, Lesley. Beautiful and very impressive sculpture. I wish that all men (women and children included) would stand in line and hold each other's hand not only as a sign of peace but meaning it too.
