Uh oh! by tinley23

Uh oh!

Rosie was left alone for just 5 minutes and this and a big wee in the kitchen was the result. We really need to work on her separation issues when all this is over. Luckily it wasn’t my book 😊
Aaahaaahaaa!!! But the book is readable, right? Makes it even more interesting :D

I think it is an exciting book ....😉

Well not much of a mystery to who chewed the book! 🤣

I had similar things happened to me. Now they are cherished memories of my dog.

Who did it mystery? Lol 🤣 Oh Rosie!

If you don't like a book Lesley don't eat it and blame your pet!! 😉

Caught red-handed!

Doggone it! Many years ago when we had a pair of Shelties I checked a brand new dog training book out of the library... one of them chewed it up a bit... much less than this is chewed and I offered to pay for the book but they left it in circulation slightly chewed and refused my offer.

Oh dear this lockdown has affected everyone!!

@monikozi Yes still readable, but we won’t be donating this one to the charity bookshop as we usually do 😊

So I gather Rosie is your dog? Can you hear me laughing knowingly? Our case(s) weren't a dog, but, first, a litter-trained "House Rabbit". No piddly accidents, but, too late we learned, as lagomorphs, their teeth grow and they Have to Chew! We now refer to those books that were on a bottom shelf as having "deckled edges"! Years later, we had a cockatiel that also had a penchant for leaving his signature on paper goods! And yes, with the passage of time, those are some of our fondest memories of those two!

@kvphoto hahaha! Great story to share!
February 22nd, 2021
@romainz Well it certainly got Rosie excited :)
February 22nd, 2021
@wakelys @miss_molly Haha yes, no mystery there.
February 22nd, 2021
@okvalle Ah that’s a nice way to think about it. I know you’re right.
February 22nd, 2021
@g3xbm @clivee Haha She’s a minx!
February 22nd, 2021
@kvphoto Haha well I wouldn’t mind reading a mildly munched book, but there’s no disguising this one 😊
February 22nd, 2021
@Weezilou Oh lovely comment. I love that you have those unusual memories of your pets right on your bookshelf.
February 22nd, 2021
@tinley2 You are right about that! Better than the book that got returned to me when I worked as a school librarian... it was completely soaked from falling in the toilet.
February 22nd, 2021
@kvphoto Ewwww. I hope you refused it.
February 22nd, 2021
Maybe Rosie doesn't like mystery stories. ha ha
February 22nd, 2021
Oh my- talk about sinking your teeth into a story!
February 23rd, 2021
@onewing She certainly doesn't like the mystery of the disappearing humans!!
February 23rd, 2021
@olivetreeann Haha very good!
February 23rd, 2021
Oops!

I hadn’t heard of Bernard Knight or the Crowner John mysteries so I did a Google search. They sound interesting so I might give them a try. Bernard Knight should pay Rosie a commission.
February 23rd, 2021
Oh dear. Looks like Rosie enjoyed the story as much as you did.
