I was enjoying a quiet coffee with Mrs S on a dull Easter Monday morning when, suddenly, a shaft of sunlight shone through the window casting shadow patterns on the wall.
Very cool shot, this one. I like the chosen color tone and the eye-catching yellow frame. In the end though, it's the shadows on the wall that catch the most attention.
@aecasey@aecasey@lyndemc Thank you ladies for your comments: I gave this my usual processing in Lightroom and then upped the contrast and clarity a bit more than usual. I tried the shot in B&W but, in the end, I liked this colour version best.
Hi Richard, thanks for asking me to partner for this week's get-pushed. I've really enjoyed browsing your albums. How about trying some textures and architecture this week for get - pushed?
@gailmmeek Hi Gail - thanks for the interest and the Fav: 'architexture' eh? OK, I'm up for that... even though we don't have a lot of that in rural Brittanny!
@joansmor I was talking to Margaret and I looked away from her to pick up my coffee and I was knocked out by this image exactly as you see it... fortunately, my camera was lying in my lap so I picked it up and snapped this!
Lovely photo ... Brings back memories of sitting in French cafés and restaurants and I quite fancy trying one of those Kir Breton too! Reminds me of the lovely Breton cake that I got used to having for breakfast with jam and fresh coffee while on holiday - it's probably a good job it was only for a fortnight! See what your photo has done? Such lovely memories. :)
