Me & Myself... by vignouse

Me & Myself...

... seen here discussing what we should shoot for our se7en photo for today. If you want to see what we decided to do, you'll need to scoot over to http://365project.org/se7en/365/2014-05-10 to see our photo which was taken by Me and processed by Myself.

That's Me on the right by the way, being enthusiastic about Myself's suggestion for the shoot ;-)
He-he!!!! Very good!!!

The good thing is that you are not arguing with yourself. Perfect harmony :)

Fun shot!

This is great!

So creative!

Very cool shot. Getting the lighting right for these types of shots is HARD and you nailed it. Great work.

Very cool shot. Love it

@thomastoth Thanks Thomas! I'm quite pleased with this because it's the very first time I have ever used Photoshop. I've been paying for Photoshop CC for 6 months but haven't plucked up the courage to use it, until today. I started to take this in the garden on a cloudy, windy evening where the light was changing every 50 microseconds - soon gave that up as a bad job! I pre-edited my two layer shots in Lightroom before importing them as layers into photoshop. Now that I've tried it, I have a question: how come it takes 3 minutes in a YouTube tutorial to do this when it took me 2 hours?
May 10th, 2014
@vignouse Because the guy on YouTube messed it up 50 times before he got the one he posted! :)

Brilliant!

How clever!! I don't have photoshop, but can quite imagine it being very complex. You have done so well here! What fun to have a double. Glad you came to an agreement. Look forward to seeing your nails.

Very cool and clever!

So impressed that you created this the first time you used PS - Great idea and brilliantly done.

I love the photo, it is just so you. It is the reason I choose to follow you. But to answer why it took you two hours - it's called a learning curve. LOL But give yourself a star for this one.

Also so if you learn processing in Photoshop, I'll really have nothing to hold over you. SHUCKS!
May 10th, 2014
Couple of delightful old codgers! Congrats on persevering with Photoshop! I don't know what a layer is to layer anything!
May 10th, 2014
Wow very impressed, first time - amazingly well done.
May 11th, 2014
@joansmor Well the 2 hours did include setting up the shot, taking the photos, downloading and editing in Lightroom and than doing the layers magic in PS... but it needs to be quicker than that if I am to play with PS on a regular basis.
May 11th, 2014
@vignouse I promise it gets faster - except I know nothing of Lightroom. I can do layers adjustments in elements in about 5 minutes including using a mask. Practice makes it become like you picking the aperture and the shutter speed.
May 11th, 2014
hahahah! awesome bit of multiplicity!
May 11th, 2014
@joansmor OK - well I look forward to getting better. Lightroom is Adobe Camera Raw on speed married to Adobe Bridge ;-)
May 11th, 2014
@vignouse Oh I know what it is I just don't know anything about how it works. I just have Photo shop Elements and Elements Organizer. Now go to bed you need to get up an make breakfast for Mrs. S.
May 11th, 2014
@joansmor Are you two in contact behind my back?
May 11th, 2014
@vignouse That's for us to know. Wish her a happy Mother's Day from America.
May 11th, 2014

Very well done. Love your expressions.
May 12th, 2014
This is great! I talk to myself all the time. It's fun to see it expressed like this.
May 14th, 2014
How fun! Another excellent creation Richard. I'm really bad - I use LR and the basics in PS but haven't gone further. No time, but need to learn more when I find the time.
