Moonlight Shadow... by vignouse

Moonlight Shadow...

The trees that whisper in the evening
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
(Mike & Sally Oldfield)

This is another entry for the first B&W Fortnight challenge - B&W Gardens.
Your black and whites are so dramatic.

Super fantastic - love this and FAV - is it infra red? I had the chip on my first DSLR converted for infra red - haven't used it for years. You've inspired me to dig it out.

I agree with others, very dramatic. And on the Trending page, well done.
I'm not sure if the garden feels friendly or scary. Whichever, a great shot and I'm glad that you are playing in the b&w challenge too!

@jocasta Hi Joy - no, not IR (although it's something I would like to try)... in fact, if you check the Exif Data you will see that this was taken in bright afternoon sun and therefore owes most of its 'look' to Adobe rather than the moonlight in its title! Interestingly, I first tried processing this in Silver Efex Pro; then I tried it in PS cc and finally I tried an edit in LR5 and it's the LR5 version that you see here. I'm constantly amazed what can be done with that programme... but then again, I know it much better than the other two.

Sorry if this 'confession' disappoints anyone ;-)
