Mrs S - apart from being the Love-of-my-Life - is also a self-appointed Photo Opportunity Spotter. This tree stump and the fungi colony that has taken it over are on one of her favourite dog-walking routes but just a bit off the beaten path. Couldn't escape Mrs S's eagle-eye though and I was duly despatched to record this little scene for posterity.
I thought it looked like a tiny village of fairy huts... so that's my title.

Excellent to have a spotter! She did very well here. Like the way the mushrooms are framed by the tree stump. I guessed f4 and iso 600. Fairly close. :)
