Rachel @ roseolivia is my Get Pushed partner for week 123 and she said - "How do you feel about having fun with double exposure?" I certainly did have fun... and I had even more once I stopped trying to do this as a 'selfie'!
This is Mrs S looking at a photoframe that used to hang on the wall in my parent's lounge and it features them at the top and (a young!) us at the bottom... and yes, it was done in camera.
@roseolivia Hi Rachel - here's my response to your challenge to 'have fun with double exposure'. I would have liked to have had more time to separate the two images completely, but at least this way, there's evidence that this was done in camera (which it was) and not in Photoshop (which it wasn't - although it would have been quicker!)
I did have fun - thank you for the opportunity to try something new.
I love the image and the concept, fabulous and so glad you enjoyed it! It is still something I need to practice but love the result. Beautifully done, love it and fav
Look at the wonderful happy couple. Fab. You done good Mr. Sayer. Without planning it is fun to see how the three of us have done low light portraits. You are great with the lighting.
@icamera Thanks and FYI this was lit with an Aputure 100 LED ringlight in constant illumination mode and positioned off-camera on a light stand.
@joansmor Thanks Joan - the picture of us was taken at Antibes about 20 years ago - Mrs S asked two patrolling Gendarmes to wield our camera for us. For the lighting - see my comment above.
this works so well - visually - but also the sentiment behind the image!
Yes we are Get pushed partners this week - my challenge for you is to make and image that represents what Christmas means for you and yours!
I will try to get my challenge done!

Beautiful sentiment as well.
