I'm not usually much taken with distorted perspective images, and certainly not ones with this much colour in them - but this one kept whispering "Post me, post me." in a very insistent manner until I gave in! ;-)
This is very cool and intriguing image Richard. I like the images you are getting from the Fuji. There is a Fuji glow in the b & w jpg at certain
settings if the light is right (By, Nr -1, H+1 and grayscale-.3) Love playing with highlight, shadow and B filter settings for jpg from camera)
@tosee Thanks Tom - this (and the other Fuji images I have posted recently) is from a raw file processed in LR and whatever else took my fancy, although - paradoxically - one of the attractions of both the X-Pro-1 and the XT-10 was (and is) the quality of the JPEGs straight from camera. I intend to explore the possibilities next month when I will have a bit more time than I do at the moment.
Definitely an interesting shot w so much to see... Those vivid shutter colours are quite something.... This would be fun to process w dark ominous tones ;p
@northy That was my first thought Mira so I tried Nik Software's Dark Contrast but I didn't like it much... didn't like it in B&W either - I couldn't make the skies as dark as I wanted without losing the birds - so this is what I ended up with!
