You have the most amazing ability to capture in black and white the subtleties of the different tones in a landscape scene. Most people would have done this in color, yet it is so much more inviting and interesting in black and white. Beautiful lighting helps, but still.....

@fntngrma@aikimomm Thank you both: no mystery about the empty boats in the middle - they are training dinghies used to give kids a first experience of being on the water and when not in use, they are moored on a buoy out in the lake away from the reach of vandals or thieves. The Zodiac you see on the left with two people in it is, in fact, on its way to get one of the two.
