Not too far into the forest, there are three balancing reservoirs which along with a couple of lakes and some deep-bore pumps, form Paimpont's water supply system. This is the first and highest of the three balancing reservoirs and this view was captured at twilight this evening, about 10 minutes before the night closed in completely.
fabulous, and even more so in black. the skeletal trees are what makes the winter worth photographing even without the snow. this is a great example. i love it!
