For March in my PLAY project, I'm moving on from the Fujinon f/2.0 XF18mm APS-C lens - 28mm Full-Frame equivalent. For March, all images in my main PLAY album will be shot with a Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 macro lens - 90mm F/F equivalent... pictured here on the XT-2 although that may not be the only body that I use it on during the month.
Haha...I have lens envy!!! I am looking forward to seeing what you shoot with it! The 18mm is the same focal length as on my x70, so am used to that field of view, the 60mm is a length I have rarely shot with. Though to be honest as much as I like the idea of this lens, with what I like to shoot, I am not sure it would be worth the expense for me. So far I have the kit lens which I quite enjoy, and have bought the 35mm f2 which I bought because it was economical and gave me a weather proof kit. I am on a tight budget until both my kids have graduated college, so am trying to figure out my next purchase. I like the idea of the samyang 12mm f2 so I can take long exposure cityscapes, but I am also hankering after the new 23 mm, because sometimes I want a bit more reach than my X70, and I find the 35mm fuji lens a bit too tight. I could go on with this, but I think I should stop :)
@ukandie1 Hi Andie - up to now I could count on one hand the number of images I had taken with this lens so I'm enjoying getting to grips with it. It's rather slow to focus but once it's nailed it, the resulting image is tack sharp.
