Our neighbour Mado, to whom these hens belong, has recently increased hen stock, although all her girls are not laying at the moment. I rather like these black ladies, particularly as they strut their stuff in 365.
Each one has one eye on you.... what's the secret of getting them to hold still enough, mine seldom did. Sigh! Happy days.. I miss my hens and their eggs.
