Out in the forest this afternoon I lifted my camera to my eye only to find my face being tickled! I discovered that the culprit was this spider who had not only spun a web across my camera strap but had already trapped and wrapped up in silk a small bug for dinner.

Just as well that I had a second camera with me to capture this... especially as the memory card in the main camera failed and I lost all the images I had taken with it!
Oh my! I think I might have jumped back and dropped the whole thing!

Gosh...I would not like a spider near my face. Great shot and fortunate you had another camera :).

Good heavens! Intrepid little hitchhiker... so sorry to hear about your memory card... so frustrating when that happens :(. Ha e you tried any special software to retrieve the images?

A win for both of you. Like how nature trumped technology and gave you a most cool shot.

The X100T as second camera! What an insult .... I hope it lies above the other camera around your neck! :-)

@yrhenwr The camera strap is attached to a Fuji XT10 which was fitted with a 60mm macro lens on this occasion... horses for courses!
