Paimpont 2018: Day 16 - Lensbaby Barn Bikes

Those of you who follow my project regularly will know that we overwinter our Motorhome/RV in an old barn which is also home to a lot of interesting old bric-a-brac - you've seen these old bicycles before... but this time Lensbaby style.

BoB - inevitably!
How lovely it gets a little attention,

The blur gives a charming air of nostalgia, as does the light.

Super light and contrast - the lensbaby lends a feeling of Fine Art photography. FAV

Learning so much from studying your lens baby shots. I have a long way to go!!

@thistle I don't pretend to be an expert - I only get mine out when there's a challenge on - so I suggest that you look at all the images with the lb2018 tag to get an idea of what is possible. Of course there are now LB's that produce different effects from that of the 'classic' LB and the focal length, the aperture and the distance from the subject all impact on the result. Take your time, experiment a lot... and, above all, have fun!

@vignouse Thank you for your advice. Always valued an I will follow it. I have a Lensbaby Composer Pro with Sweet 50. I'm having fun with this and think it will suffice for me.

@thistle The only difference between the LB that I have and yours is that I have to change aperture by slotting in magnetic disks whereas yours has an aperture control ring. In practice I leave mine at f/4 for increased LB effect as the wider the aperture, the smaller the 'sweet spot' and the more exaggerated the blur distortion.
