...at least that's the first thing that came to mind when I stumbled across this scene this afternoon. It's no more than 500 metres from the centre of Paimpont but completely hidden behind a thick belt of trees: it's also on private property! I only discovered it by accident when I followed a rough track I hadn't noticed before.
To do it justice, this one needs to be viewed on black - it's got all of Ansel Adams ten tones in it.
What an excellent find! VML how the reflection of the bridge is interrupted by sylvan shadow and how very appropriate that all the elements have been so carefully planted/positioned to ensure this vista has lasting charm.
I hope that one day i'll reach this level.
