Roses - Final Resting Place by vignouse

Roses - Final Resting Place

These are the roses that I featured 25 & 28 October and 4, 15 & 21 November - a present from Mrs S so that I could photograph them "when they are dead".

They have finally reached a somewhat ignominious end... in the compost bin. I'm guessing that this won't be the most popular photo I've ever posted ;~}

Grungier on black!
They are beautiful, even here among the refuse. Something beautiful will grow from them again after they've composted!

Thanks for the comment and fav on my "shades of brown" pic. :)

Well, the roses are still pretty.

Well they served their purpose well and now might serve a better purpose later in death as compost to enrich the soil.

definitely a fun photo to peruse, however, trying to reconstruct the former livers of the other objects

A gift until the very end of their being.

Except for the orange skin, this could be a natural still life! I guess they really are still now!

A wonderful gift and they will now produce compost to produce beautiful flowers in the future!

Along the lessons of the great flemish masters - a still life in the Italian translation: "Natura morta"!

A very different photo - As I work for ecoMaine which is a Trash to Energy Plant and a recycle business I very much approve of this photo.

Oh but I do appreciate Mrs S's sentiment for buying them in preparation for your photography needs. How very thoughtful.
