Old Retired Horses... by vignouse

Old Retired Horses...

...grazing on nearby pasture land and enjoying the sun on their backs. They are just about at the limit of the maximum 1 km distance we're allowed to be from home... for no more than one hour a day.
Nice capture of these retired horses grazing in the sun...I hope that your restrictions will be lifted soon so that you and Margo can kick up your heels :).

Oh my goodness, I had no idea. Bryan goes for grocery pickup but we are sheltering in place, except we do get to walk - we could go to the parks but mostly stroll in our country "neighborhood." Have seen 3 new types of birds which has been the highlight of the month!

Nicely processed - we were allowed to be out for 30 minutes of exercise each day under our "Level 4". The last two weeks have been at "Level 3" and have seen a slight relaxation of that. Apparently we go to "Level 2" next week which, while no where near normal, should see ore freedom - and a long awaited haircut

Phew! They are sagging like me.

Oh dear these two look like they need a good feed of something more than grass.

They look awfully thin! I hope you have a 1km circle with your house in the middle to maximise the distance you can walk from home. We are very lucky not to have a fixed time and/or distance to be away from home.

I,ve read and you have the same movement restriction than us. Animals are leaving these day more peacefully like this horses due to relax of human presence

They look a little on the thin side. Wish I had some apples, carrots and sugar cubes for them! I love to feed animals...fav! :)

Those poor old horses, they look malnourished!

They’re rather skinny! Typical of old horses.

I was a bit shocked to see these horses but I suppose we do get thin with age , they look like they have plenty of grass so hopefully ok.
You are more restricted than us....we are allowed out for one hour exercise a day & could be extended tomorrow perhaps if Boris says so.

A lovely capture, they do look their age

Lucky creatures, totally unaware of social restrictions.

They look as if they are enjoying their last days

Your lockdown restrictions are greater than here in the UK - you also have less deaths - so it seems that yours are working.

They do look very old! Hopefully your tight restrictions will be eased somewhat soon.

Your sphere of freedom is a wise limit as it seems to be achieving its goal. Wonderful tonal separation and those two look content and seem to have plenty to munch on.
