A Year of Days: Day 25 - Vignouse from the south.

As is my wont, I took a couple of cameras for a walk in the forest this Sunday afternoon in the hope of finding a suitable image for my post today. As always, I took a couple of photos of the house from the top road and, as always, they were dull and uninteresting! On the return leg, as I came out of the forest, I spotted the house framed by two trees - I don't know why I haven't noticed this view before. I'm happy to make it my diary picture of the day - Vignouse seen from 300 metres away, looking towards the north. The ground floor is partially obscured by the bank in front of the house but it still shows the character of the house and its situation quite well, I think.
Interesting how we keep seeing things we hadn't noticed when out on a photo shoot. Oh my I am listening to the weather and they have blizzard warnings set from Monday night through Wednesday. OH YUCK! Light snow I like - blizzards not so much. This is a lovely view.

A welcome and comforting view often seen as I return with Mitzi. An early blue late afternoon at Concoret in the distance?
