Savonnière is a pretty little town bordering the river Cher, just south of the city of Tours. Our radio-amateur contest group needed bread for dinner so I volunteered to do the shopping. I'm glad I did otherwise I may never have visited this charming little town although it is only 7 kilometres from where we are staying for the weekend.
