We're now into the season when Paimpont Abbey starts to be in demand as a place to visit - despite only being a tiny village, we receive around 40,000 visitors a year. This being a holiday weekend we had more visitors than usual so today and tomorrow, Mrs S and I will open up the Sacristy so that visitors might enjoy 'Les trésors de l'Abbaye' which are stored there: this is just one of the display cabinets.
