The end of a special day - Pentecost Sunday. For more than 500 years Pentecost Sunday has been celebrated in Paimpont by a celebratory mass at the shrine of 'Notre Dame de Paimpont'. Today was no different and, as usual, I was part of the team that put 300 seats in place as well as the vital infrastructure like the organ and the sound system. I had intended to take a photo of the celebration for my Diary entry today, but it got forgotten in the midst of all the preparations. Instead, here is the view from our dining room windows just before midnight lit by the solar lights in the garden. A restful scene after a busy day.
